Book Presentation Giro di pista. Circuiti e piloti che hanno fatto la storia della velocità by Diego Alverà

Fifteen circuits, 363 corners, 162,612 meters of asphalt and concrete. Fifteen drivers, fifteen races, fifteen days. Like an ideal lap of the track, Diego Alverà takes us on a journey through some of the most iconic circuits in the world, tracing the thread that binds them inseparably to the stories of racing cars and drivers—stories that have unfolded and intertwined on those very tracks.

An original and illuminating perspective on the world of motorsport and Formula One, spanning a century of speed, paying tribute not only to drivers and single-seaters, prototypes and engines, but also to the ideas, visions, and determination of those who imagined and built these ribbons of asphalt. Pioneering engineers, bold designers, and fearless visionaries—all united by an obsession with the limit—stand as ideal witnesses to the feats of drivers who became legends of motor racing, such as Jim Clark, Tazio Nuvolari, Ayrton Senna, Antonio Ascari, Gilles Villeneuve, James Hunt, Achille Varzi, Michael Schumacher, and even a young Enzo Ferrari.

In these pages, they all return as if by magic, racing and challenging one another once again on historic circuits such as Brno, Donington, Imola, Le Mans, Montjuïc, Monza, Nürburgring, and many more. It was on these corners that these masters experienced their days of glory—or, inevitably, met their tragic fate.
